□ Personality: It's quite obvious that there is something that sets Fang apart from Lightning and the others and it's not just the way that she dresses. She's the first to admit that she has a few screws loose. She knows that she's a bit crazy and that doesn't bother her at all. She's also got a nearly one-track mind. She will do whatever she can to make sure that Vanille, another l'Cie like her, doesn't become a Cie'th, a monster with no hope of being human again. Fang will do anything from tearing the sky down to giving her own life to make sure that Vanille stays safe. Fang doesn't care if both Gran Pulse and Cocoon rot as long as Vanille is safe.
Vanille is the reason Fang does anything. The two of them grew up together in the town of Oerba on Gran Pulse. They grew up together and became l'Cie in order to fight Cocoon. They grew up thinking that Cocoon was just waiting for a time to attack and decided to attack first, but they weren't able to bring Cocoon down. They managed to crack it's shell and were put into crystal stasis. When they woke up, Fang's brand had turned white while Vanille's had remained the same. She vowed that she would do anything she could to make sure that Vanille wouldn't become a Cie'th.
While searching for Vanille, Fang met Cid Raines, the leader of the Cavalry. He was the reason that she met up with Snow, Lightning and Hope before eventually meeting back up with Vanille and Sazh. After meeting back up, Snow, Vanille, Lightning, Hope, and Sazh decided to fight their focus and beat the fal'Cie that was controlling Cocoon, Fang refused to do so. She didn't want any of her friends becoming a Cie'th and would fight them all if she had to. While admitting this, the Eidolon Bahamut appeared. Without a second thought, Lightning and the others did what they could to help her fight the Eidolon and receive his Eidolith, a crystal that looks a bit like part of a bone that starts out a purple color at one end and fades into a pink color at the other.
After fighting Bahamut, Fang realized that what her friends, and even Cid Raines, were talking about could happen. They might be able to fight the fal'Cie and win. She would do what she could to help make sure that all of her friends stayed safe and didn't become Cie'th. When Vanille is tortured by Orphan in the final battle, Fang sacrifices herself in order to save Vanille so that she won't have to become Ragnarok. She even goes as far as threatening to kill the girl in order to save her, but the others prevent her from striking the blow and end up being turned into Cie'th. They attack Fang again, making her wonder if this is what she gets for picking salvation. She becomes Ragnarok and attacks Orphan, but isn't strong enough to kill the fal'Cie. While being tortured herself, she begs Vanille to run, but she refuses.When Orphan is attacked by someone else, Fang realizes that her friends aren't Cie'th at all. They've come back to help her beat Orphan.
After beating Orphan, Fang decides to sacrifice herself along with Vanille to save Cocoon, which was falling out of the sky after the death of Orphan. They become Ragnarok and save Cocoon, eventually turning into a crystal pillar to hold it up so that her friends could survive.
